I don't care how it's framed. IMO it's likely going to fall by the wayside either way. We're not really good at prioritizing things that will obviously pay huge dividends, but those dividends will come at some unpredictable point in the distant future (hopefully). Its super easy to blame Manchin and Sinema for blocking everything instead of being realistic and asking them what they want as the deciding votes to get something lesser passed. I'm not entirely sure I understand the argument that prices were higher under Bush or adjusted for inflation was higher under Bush. Nobody pumping gas is ever going to consider this, nor should they. It doesn't really matter what the factors are, Dems will lose elections because of these prices. It'll be end of summer before we see a significant drop even if then.
