I’m honestly not sure who would win in a foot race between Lewis, McCoy, and Bell. It could possibly be a tie.

I said it earlier in this thread, but there were Jets beat writers out of TC saying 80 year old Gore looked faster than Bell. I guess we'll find out, but I'm betting he's washed. There's a chance he can be somewhat effective, but I don't see Bell from 3-4 years ago coming back.

I don’t think so. He’s lost more than a step. He still has some shiftiness, but he’s nothing more than an upgrade over McCoy.

I remember Moss looking washed just before arriving in NE. I'm very curious to see how he does going from literally one of the worst situations in the NFL to one of the best. We know how dependent the RB position is and that Jets OL is truly horrible. Football-wise chasing the money there was a catastrophic mistake. If he cares at all about his play, he'll find himself in KC. The dude is only 28, there is no way all that talent just left him.

I'm wondering if this says anything about what they think of CEH. Helaire has looked pretty good, but imo he hasn't lived up to the hype people were heaping on him before the season. Not really from a statistical point of view at least.

His numbers have been going down since week 1. He's also a small back. They need a bigger back to complement him. He's unlikely to be a 20+ carry guy

I think they love Clyde but philosophically, Andy Reid has always preferred a committee of backs. If you'll remember back in the golden era of featured backs Reid was killing people with the 3-headed monster of Brian Westbrook, Deuce Staley, and Corell Buckhalter. Even Kareem Hunt was splitting tons of carries with the likes of Damien Williams.

I agree..IT seems the Jets oline did suck tremendously but I'm wondering if he was sandbagging to be released and then be a RB at least close to what he was a few years back. Again he's not over the hill age wise...

I wouldn't put it past him as he appears to have questionable character to put it mildly.

Moss wasn’t washed. You could see in OAK he was still extremely fast. The terrible QB play and the fact that he acted like he didn’t care anymore had more to do with it

Bell is a RB. He could certainly be washed at 28. The guy didn’t play an entire season then looked like a different RB. I don’t get your interest in Bell at this point. I would rather have had Devonta Freeman if we wanted a RB who used to be good. Have you watched Bell? He definitely looks slower.
