In terms of COVID losses, I’m actually more interested to see how we handle the coaching situation. There’s a chance some of the players will actually be able to make it back. tgo Posted October 5, 2020 Report Share Posted October 5, 2020 Just for the sake of conjecture, and assuming the Titans return to the facility on Wednesday or Thursday for practice, AND assuming no one gets activated off COVID-IR, this is what I would do: Call up Adoree from IR Sign the best long snapper available Gameday activation of Cody Hollister and Teair Tart off the PS. Inactives: 1. Chris Jackson 2. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine And then you have your 48-man gameday roster. Major weakness at DL, but having AJ Brown, Adoree, Lewan, Roberson back would help. Starting DL would be: 5T: Jack Crawford 1T: Larrell Murchison 3T: Isaiah Mack Matt Dickerson (5T) and Teair Tart (3T) in reserve. Use MyCole Pruitt as the occasional FB, and have Swaim up for inline duties in packages. Oh, and run the fucking football, keep the Bills off the field. Our only saving grace here is that the Bills run game is poor, and this lean DL is more geared toward pass rushing with Jones/Simmons out. I guess short of playing a crappy team, this would be the week to be missing your run stoppers on DL. Then again, the run defense couldn't get much worse than it has been. They will have had 2 weeks to prepare schematically with a full week of practice if the facility reopens on wednesday. All this bitching and crying over whether the team should even play is bullshit.
