Had Tannehill started the entire season the Titans likely win the division and win 11 or 12 games. The win against NE and the Ravens wouldn't be considered upsets/flukes. Now the team that lost in the AFC title game has a vastly improved defense, especially pass rush/defensive front and they added Evans and Humphries to the offense. The Titans were 3-1 vs the Ravens/NE and KC They are a better team than last season. forget the media...they probably have a whole slew of different reasons for where they rank the Titans...many just based on the fact they don't really care about the Titans. vegas having us at 8.5 is legit though. they know that Tannehill is the QB and that the team is better with him over Mariota. I think it reasonably safe to say that Tannehill gets you a couple extra wins if he plays the whole season but there were a couple games that could have gone either way and the Texans game at the end of the season was a gimme. So we are still IMO a 9 maybe 10 win team with Tannehill last season. and saying we were 3-1 vs ravens, NE, and chiefs but not counting the saints or texans in that? These were basically the top teams that we faced with Tannehill and in those games we went 3-3...possible 3-4 with a loss to texans in the final week. Also a bit of a stretch to include the Pats since they were basically paper champions down the stretch last year. It was a playoff game in NE with Brady so that is something to take into account. Had it been a regular season game I think the Titans were the better team. not arguing that we aren't better this year but just trying to put reasons to the fact that we are being overlooked...which I agree we are. however concluding that we are a 11-12 win team last year and this year we are better (13-14 wins??) is a stretch. I wouldn't underestimate the addition of Edwards-Helaire at RB for them. He's an excellent fit for their offense that will enable them to keep the chains moving if the big play isn't there. Somedude
My expectations are doubt and disappointment like every year but there is a little light inside for the first time since the early years. Just maybe..maybe we got this. Barring injury. We may finally have this. This is maybe the most stacked the roster has ever been in Nashville. Vrabel is a better coach than Fisher. He also adjusts. I trust Jrob.

Get the military propaganda off our sports fields. Players didn't even come on the field for the national anthem most of the time until the department of defense paid off sports leagues in 2009 Dont create an account on a fan message board and act like you are going to threaten to walk away. You're obviously invested and whining like a baby. No one cares here. so... bye

titanruss
I expect the RB split will be closer to 2018. If D Evans is healthy, he should get 120-150 carries and 50+ catches. I expect AJ and Jonnu to be even better and Humphries to get more catches as Defenses defend deep and the run. I expect the D to start slowish and improve as the season goes on. I expect RT and DH's efficiency stats to come down some but not horribly so. I expect us to make the playoffs, win the division, and win at least 1 game.
