No reference to Titans, but I'm on te edge of my seat after Mario... so I'm assuming Titans was implied ;)

Who is that guy? Someone with a site?

He writes for the Examiner, which is an website that pays about $0.10 an article to freelancers. He's the Titans guy for them, and I think he's credentialed somehow. I doubt he has any real sources though.

Ten cents? I'll be Mr. Moneybags and offer ten times that for each article someone posts that gets front paged. :twitch:

The truth is... Schefter is going to find out before any of these guys. If someone on the "inside" leaked information like that that might be used by the media and create a rift in negotiations, that person would be promptly fired and they know it.

There is no way in hell anyone in the Titans or any other of these organizations is letting anything out right now. People are having to go to extremes just to find out if and when Peyton is coming to visit yet some people think that some random guy talks to the inside guys and knows contract details? It's laughable and a complete hoax.

Anyone who believes any of this crap does so because they want to believe it and not because any of it is actually true.

I don't think there's really such a thing as a shutdown corner anymore.

Champ Bailey has been with Denver since 2003 and how many times has that defense been blown off the field in playoff games? The answer is 4.

Manning took them to school in 2003 and 2004, Roethlisberger and the Steelers basically ate them for lunch them in 2005 and you saw what Brady did last year.

“@Jamalsagod: @TitansExaminer Better not be a tease... you know what this sounds like...” Yes, not trying to tease. Hold on.

“@AsherMathews: If @TitansExaminer 's cryptic tweet ends up being, like signing a Center, #Titans fans a-gonna blow.” I wouldn't do that!

“@TrueTitansNews: Titans are granting interview access, big news coming regardless, im hoping my source gets me the news before yours” Race!
