volntitan
How does Denver have more "pieces in place"? They're line, WR, and RB's aren't any better than ours.

JLocker10
They do have a better D. That's about it. no they don't 24.4 points per game allowed (24th in the league) 357.8 total yards allowed per game (20th) Passing yards allowed 231.5 (18th) Rushing yards allowed 126.3 (22nd) We were 8th, 18th, 14th, and 24th in those respective categories They do have better edge rushers though
scine09
Let's put it this way. Offensive the Titans are light years better than Denver. Defensively Denver has the edge. And special teams the Titans have the edge.

They have better O talent than credited for imo Tebow hamstrings them a lot They've got talent, but it's unproven Tebow will do that to you
NoD
They have better O talent than credited for imo Tebow hamstrings them a lot They've got talent, but it's unproven Tebow will do that to you You could say the same about our talent on O. The receivers put up much better numbers when Locker was in last year. Captain Checkdown (Hass) hurt our stats. Our receivers are fine.
Guest
Peyton's Pro's list: Pros to going to Denver: - More pieces in place - Better run organization that doesnt have a creepy crazy owner who scared me in the meeting - Don;'t have to face my old team (and I will retire a Colt), twice a year and hurt your after career marketing opportunities Pros Tennessee - Close to home - Fans already idolize me as does, evidently, the ownership - I don't have to deal with Tebow mania and crushing the hearts of half of America - Probably get the richest contract as the owner is willing to sell the farm for me. JLocker10
Let's put it this way. Offensive the Titans are light years better than Denver. Defensively Denver has the edge. And special teams the Titans have the edge. Denver has better edge rushers They do not have a better D Did you watch the playoff game against NE or the game against BUF? And I don't see what makes us "light years" better than DEN on O RB is a wash since you could care less about the position WR- our only proven guy is Washington. Britt's a stud talent, but he has ? marks about health. The rest of our WR are upside TE- Cook improved, but still has a lot to prove. Needs to bring it more every game. OL- I give us the edge here, DEN has a better run blocking OL DEN has talent at WR, it just hasn't been been fully capitalized on because of Tebow Thomas and Decker would flourish under Manning They could use a TE (they can get Clark) and a 3rd down back (Addai), but we're not light years ahead of them
Stan
Their defense is overrated in my opinion. Teams put up points on them late in the year. Vikings put up 30 points, Bills put up 40, Pats put up 40 plus twice. The teams that they fed on were the Bears who lost Cutler, the Chiefs and Jets who offenses struggled. Yeah they got talent with Miller and Elvis and maybe Champ but that's about it.
scine09
Any WR would flourish under Manning. How do you think Washington, Britt, Williams and Hawkins would look under Manning? But to say Denver is better and it's not even close (I know you didn't say it) shows extreme bias and shortsightedness
scine09
CTF, please explain how the Broncos have more pieces in place. If I didn't know any better I'd swear that you and Oilerman are the same person. Your views on things are almost exactly the same.
pamo9
Means absolutely nothing. Incarcerated Bob is just a guy from the New York area who supposedly calls into radio shows claiming inside sources. He's just a guessed and people have tended to believe in him becauses he sometimes guesses right. Not in anyway shape or form credible. Sounds like Bongo
volntitan
It's Denver and it's not even close So going 8-8 in a weak division is better (not even close) than the Titans who went 9-7? I don't think anyone is saying Titans are light years better than Denver, but don't see anyway you can say Denver is alot better than the Titans, unless you're just prone to eternal negative bias about the team you "support". JLocker10
Even saying Denver has the edge on defense is a stretch. Statistically they weren't nay better than the Titans and Brady could have thrown for 1000 yards against them in the playoffs. On offense they have an aging RB, decent but not great OL, nobody like Cook and their WRs aren't better. I don't know for sure whe Brady could have thrown for 1000 yards in that playoff game if he wanted to. No way the Titans are any worse on defense than that. I'd go a step further than Scine's comment and say making comments like that boarders on total stupidity. It is beyond bias. At worst Denver and the Titans are comparable but to say but to say it isn't even close is simply moronic. I guess it goes to credibility. Some posters simply aren't credible and you consider the source and move on. They have better edge rushers That's it
