Justafan
Not thrilled by this signing. Hawkins has shown promise and made a few splash plays but he is very inconsistent and offers very little in terms of reliable depth if a starter goes down. He does offer some value in the fact that you get a player with some upside and they probably didn't spend all that much for him but....

OILERMAN
It's kind of odd how active the Titans have been since the season ended. Other teams have pretty much sat on their hands but the Titans are signing people left and right.

It is pretty telling that they don't want specific players to reach free agency.
KogaShuko
Im glad he'll get another chance. He looked good down the stretch. A full off-season to practice and learn the system are only going to make him, and all the other receivers better.
OILERMAN
There is no chance in hell this team signs a free agent WR either, at least for more than a minimum type deal. They could draft one in the 1st round though.
AvgJoe
I like the deal, very minimal risk and could pay huge dividends if he grows from 2011
Omar
I didn't see this coming, but he did show a lot of improvement last year, and the team is thin at WR. A recovering Britt, Wash and DWill..who else is there? I hope Hawk keeps getting better

They could draft one in the 1st round though. I agree with this. Kenny Britt is very young and will likely make a full recovery. Washington proved that he is a valuable reciever last year. Damien Williams didn't do much to win me over and Hawk is very inconsistent. I think it is pretty likely they will draft a WR high this year though I would be surprised if we took one in the first. Starkiller
Cheap, safe, knows the system and QBs. I have no problem with this one. It's not as if he can't be cut after camp if they find better...
Cyrus
He's the team's underneath YAC receiver. He's a 4th/5th type receiver who is a subpackage guy. They'll still add another receiver somewhere in the draft with a totally different skill set (Outside receiver, not slot). I wouldn't be surprised if Hawkins got paid about $1M or so per year.
