There are a lot of holes to be filled. The Stevens signing was an exciting one. The Otto and Hawk signings are useful ones, but obviously the big stuff still needs to happen.

I was merely commenting on the fact that it was a rather large contract for a guy who had minimal production the last three years. I'm glad they resigned Hawk and Otto and I think Stevens was a priority but you i'm not used to seeing contracts like these for backup players.

Maybe Oman is right and they are just adjusting to the new rules.

If you remember Oman, I advocated big time for Babin and I have said several times that I think the team should make a real effort to keep Finny even though I don't think they will.

These are not huge deals, that's not what i'm saying. Just that these are rather large deals for guys I consider to be roleplayers on the team.
