Gonzales told The Houston Chronicle that from listening to President Trump, he believes Trump really believes the crazy things he said. Gonzales said anyone familiar with the border knows those views are crazy and not how the border is but he feels the President really does. I see two possibilities: 1. He caves, paints himself as the bigger man, doing it for the good of the country and vows to settle it in the next election. 2. He makes an offer to Pelosi that she won't accept and attempts to shift the media narrative to democrats being at fault.
