It helps keep things more fair for owners who aren't glued to a computer all day and who aren't constantly monitoring practice reports for injuries and then running to the waiver wire to pick up the 3rd string RB before anyone else does. I have no problem with twitter and breaking news being an element to getting "lucky" during the weekly free agency period. It's the whole constantly cycling guys into waivers that gets obnoxious along with 9s taking all skill out picking up players simply by picking up almost every single backup each week just to hit the lotto. Anyone can do that but it's just a bullshit way to play and more obnoxious than anything. There is absolutely no reason someone shouldn't have to buy a defensive pickup to block someone or an injury lotto ticket which is exactly what 9s does multiple times a day just to be a prick. About having a Twitter update not requiring skill and Jamal wanting not doing any homework not being a disadvantage? It's whatever but there's a ZERO chance that we move to 2x a week waivers and eliminate free agency completely. Gotta pick your battles and getting rid of people spamming the system is my biggest gripe in the league for now Putting a cost on a transaction doesn't require too much more budget managing skills, it just requires you to not be an asshole. You still need to account for the same money to pick up a guy you really want.

9 Nines
Question please: If we do go to a system where adding players cost something, what will we name the NFL players not on fantasy teams?

Cyrus
I'd be open to changing the rule if someone could identify an actual issue that effects the league. During the offseason there shouldn't be a waiver, so Free Agents can be added or released without any need for a waiver claim or "cooldown" period. Of course, that means that teams can make an excessive amount of additions, but doesn't deny anyone an opportunity to tinker with their roster. Other than creating "noise" on the transaction feed, I don't think it amounts to much.

Jamalisms
Last year FA was locked down until after the draft. Not sure at what point it got locked but it was locked during the draft.
