Jonboy
Sixteen weeks of the NFL season are in the books, and for the Titans postseason hopes, it all comes down to Week 17. They'll meet a division foe with little to play for in the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jamal returns to join Jonboy and Scotty in a discussion about fans hoping for a loss, Mularkey's job security, and what an 8-8 playoff berth would mean. http://traffic.libsyn.com/twotonecrew/Episode153.mp3 http://twotonecrew.libsyn.com/rss Stitcher: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/the-two-tone-crew Voicemail: (615) 900-0282 Mailbag: [email protected] Facebook:http://www.facebook.com/titansreport Twitter: Titans Report- @titansreport Jonboy- @RetroRaconteur Jamal - @Jamalisms iTunes:https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-two-tone-crew/id485247545?mt=

ChesterCopperpot1
I cannot get behind missing the playoffs to fire Mularkey. As much as I hate him, making the playoffs it number 1 for me.
scine09
The Broncos lost their last 3 games with Tebow, not their last 4. They were 7-5 when they beat the Bears in that crazy game when I think it was Marion Barber ran out of bounds when staying in bounds would have given the Bears the win. The odds are actually better that he'd remain. So it's probably best to just hope for playoffs just for shits and giggles.
heyitsmeallen
I also can’t root for them to lose. I don’t understand how someone can root for their team to miss the playoffs when it’s been almost a decade since they have been there. Btw, good episode guys, nice that Jamal’s internet is fixed. Keep up the good work.

Jamalisms
At this point listeners should just assume Scotty has literally no idea...

The 1999 Lions began 8-4, lost their last 4, and still got in. I used to follow both the Lions and the Titans. That Lions team was pretty similar to this Titans team, winning ugly games. But they were not a good football team at all. And talent wise not even close to this Titans team. That was the year that Barry Sanders retired right before training camp. Starkiller
As for trying to compare the late season collapse to the old Oilers days, I’d say the Oilers MO was to wait until the playoffs started and then collapse...
Number9
Why does Baltimore get so much respect? 9-1 non-playoff teams 0-5 against playoff teams. But all you hear is Baltimore is the team to watch out for if they get in. They are the team that can go into NE and win. Yeah right. Nobody ever says, man if the Titans "QB got hot" "running game caught fire"
