Personally as someone who doesn't give 2 shits about arguing politics because you rarely ever change anyone's mind, I'd prefer other topics to be more visible. Ideally there'd be a way for the topic list to be tailored to your personal interests. Machine learning is a thing so maybe one day soon it can be done. That's silly. The ones who aren't sick of talking about fantasy football still talk about fantasy football. I don't hope the political conversations stop. But we've never had a black and white rule set about topics diverging anyway so who cares if a topic goes off course every now and then? We wind up talking about fantasy football, the draft, and other topics in the main Titans/Football forum all the time. Even if some of the off-topic discussions in the "other" section diverged into politics it's not the end of the world. As long as it didn't get out of hand I don't think it would be a big deal.
