Someone who has the time @Kyle021 (hint) should put together the starting experience this team has on offense.

Mistakes in execution caused this loss period.

LT 2years, LG 1 C ?, RG 3 RT 0 WR O WR ? TE ? QB 1, RB ?, FB 1, plus back up RB 0 and an over the hill Andre Johnson.

This team is built for execution errors early on.

We had WRs all over the field. Just look say their snap counts!

Our 3rd WR (Matthews) in terms of snap counts played more snaps (52%) than the backup TE (37%).  I'd point out too, that Walker played 81% of snaps, so some of those were to relieve him.  Supernaw played 21% of snaps, and Fowler played 16% of snaps.

Per PFR's splits, Titans ran 65 offensive plays (which differs from the 67 of the official gamebook, but whatever).  40 of those were from shotgun.  25 were from under center.

Two killer turnovers that led to tds and awful st play. That's why we lost. There may be plenty of bones to pick otherwise but when you are rebuilding you can't win giving up big st plays and two defensive tds.

That simplifies it. You take away the turnovers and the big returns and it's a successful game plan. (That meaning a win. Truth is there are people who will complain even after a win.) I am not saying there aren't things to be worked on and kinks to be ironed out. We have a second year QB, a first time OC, a young OL. Those aren't excuses, they are facts. Looking at the stat sheet without knowing who won, you would think the Titans probably won. I consider that a positive.
