Tormentedrose
Just curious what you guys think. Since we are changing everything else, do you think it's time to let Mike Keith go? Time to bring in someone to compete? Raise the level of competition? My vote is to let him go. I especially didn't care for his "D G B T D! " I'm not sure that I can listen to that too many more times. This is a young team and I think they need a new voice. My vote is to cut him loose or least shop him around se if we can an edge rusher or another running back.
Jonboy
Trade him for Mett.
NFLStudent
I think Mike Keith is one of the best in the business. We are lucky to have him. I hope he stays for years to come and it would not hurt my feelings if he wants to pick up the Vols games on Saturday's.
Opus74
No! That's just changing for the sake of change. As the song says, "the secret to surviving is knowing what to throw away and what to keep."
wiscotitansfan
No, he's no Bob Ueker but he's good at what he does and doubt you'd find better who know the team or want to for this team even
Venom2790
Mike Keith is solid and then some, and I like D-G-B-T-D!! Personally I want to hear at least 15 times this year.
Jamalisms
He's good at what he does, in part, because he doesn't try to do too much. He's like a drummer who doesn't try to show off, just keeps that beat and adds detail where needed... never becoming a distraction to the song... never the focal point himself. Some people imagine better and that's reasonable, but I like the understated and not-really-a-personality quality of his play calls... even something like "forty, thirty, twenty, ten, five... " Not exciting, and I definitely get that, but not a problem either.
Jamalisms
But if we can trade him for Aaron Rodgers... I'd have to consider it.
japan
Would love to get rid of Keith. His 'trademark calls' are so shticky that its embarrassing to listen to.
begooode
Be careful what you wish for. Mike Keith is experienced without being an old fart and adds value and a certain legitimacy to practically every production he's involved with. Great voice and measure to his words -- emotive without losing clarity. He makes good points in his commentaries and doesn't get tripped up too often. The head bobbing "uh-huh" gets annoying, but overall the guy's pretty good.
japan
We really have to have one of the worst radio teams in the league. Keith has a good voice but is so gimmicky and Wychek is a bumbling, low IQ color man. I can't remember the last time I listened to one of their calls. NashvilleNinja
D-G-B-T-D? Acronyms are useful when they're necessary for brevity. Whatever that is? It's not necessary.

luvyablue256
I'd rather replace Mark Howard on 104.5. We need new blood across the board on local sports radio.
