The other top WRs are a little shiftier which Ramsey is going to struggle with. Hopkins kills so many CBs on deep routes. Ramsey is big and fast enough to be on him. I think what will end up happening is Hopkins will win 9 out of 10 jump balls on him though. Ramsey doesnt have the ball skills to shut down a big time WR like Hopkins. Yup. We'll see Ramsey stride for stride with Hopkins and then at the catch point, Hopkins will put his nuts all over his face like he does to everyone else. Hopkins picked on Revis last year vs the Pats. He's quietly become a top 3-5 WR in this league.

The scary thing is Hopkins has become a top WR without a QB. Im not saying Osweiler is a good QB but he provides much more upside than Hoyer or any other QB Hopkins has had the past few seasons. Thinking about this Hopkins matchup scares me if we draft Ramsey as a CB. When you think about it the top WRs have certain qualities. You have big WRs who are fast and win the jump ball majority of the time. Then you have small shifty WRs who are nearly impossible to man up. Ramsey will struggle covering both of these. I just dont see him every being an elite CB.

Mythos27
Butler was a stud last season. He did well against Hopkins and also fought a war vs OBJ.
Jonboy
Lol...man this thread is pretty hilarious in hindsight. So many were wrong about Ramsey's ability to play CB.
Mythos27
Good to see that even though I didn't want Ramsey, I tried to be fair about him as a prospect. It's gotta sting a little now if you thought he was a terrible corner.
BeedoeLaw
It's hard to believe I didn't post once in this entire thread. I admit that I was more on board with Ramsey as a safety, but I'm not surprised he has done well as a corner. He is a damn good football player. Huston
Ill admit i wanted him over a tackle in the first.
CaliTitan3518
I didn't read through the whole thread but I don't think many thought he would be terrible. He is a good football player. I still think he would have a bigger impact on the game as a safety. He covered the small shifty WRs better than I thought he would. He proved two things though 1. He still has zero ball skills 2. He's a little bitch who cries on the sideline lol

IrishTitansFan
Ramsey is a total stud and is likly on his way to being a top 5 - if not the top - cornerback in the NFL

And lol @heyitsmeallen for voting now.
