No way Berry doesn't get resigned in KC though

One can dream can't he? LOL. It really would be nice, but I think they might tag him if AAS deal can't be reached. Does anyone know the franchise tag number for safties?

I wouldn't rule out Bosa or Tunsil though. Tunsil, in particular, is a top notch LT, and even though we have Lewan, whom I like, those are hard to find. But Ramsey is amazing. He's my top pick in this draft for sure. Still hoping we can trade down a few spots and still take him. But Buckner is great, as is Tunsil and Bosa. There are about 5 guys that are all pretty close to each other, and none are QBs. So I'd trade down as far as pick 6 or so, and still be happy with the guy we get.

That's the way it seems to me.  Im not a draft guru but Ramsey Buckner Tunsil and Bosa all seem like very good prospects and close and they all could help our team.

I think at the end of the day they move McCourty to FS & sign a corner like Sean Smith or Prince. J-Mac is ripe to be moved to FS, he's the perfect guy for it, he's strong, smart, and can tackle. I know everybody says it's not a given that it will work but most corners move to safety without a problem. Hell, Walter Thurmond was a decent nickel corner & he played like a pro bowler at FS for the Eagles this year.

I personally think it's borderline insane to take a FS #1. We had a very good pass rush last year when Morgan was playing, a guy like Bosa or Buckner can put us over the top there. I like Riggs in the slot. If we add one of the above, sign a corner, and move J-Mac back, I think our D will be serious.

But we could do this with EVERY draft.  Guys taken 11, 14, 22nd or even guys in the 2nd and 3rd round ending up better choices than guys taken in the top 5.  Yet we have people screaming not to make a trade that will result in us picking later in the 1st round.  I say baloney.  Get the extra picks.  These picks are like lottery tickets the more you have the better chance of hitting the jack pot.  And what is even more funny is how teams like the Ravens always take better players than teams ahead of them in the draft.  I say pick later if we get a quality trade that will help build the team the next few years and just try as hard as we can to make every pick count.  Like taking Andre Hopkins 27th in the draft and ending up with one of the best picks in the whole 1st round.

How about we stop being stupid with these picks and make some quality picks no matter where we pick.

And some years the guys who end up being projected as top 5 elite players do end up being elite players.  I'd rather have drafted Amari Cooper at 4 like the Raiders did then to have traded down for more picks. Then you would've missed out an elite player. It goes both ways. The draft is a crapshoot and a projection.

I really think it's unlikely that the team keeps Griffin given his high salary. If the Titans sign a new starting FS, it's probably less likely they take Ramsey. Mularkey mentioned the secondary being an issue, and I don't think it's just the CBs. McCourty will be back healthy and Cox is OK when healthy too. They need more corners, obviously, but Griffin makes zero plays and is losing his athleticism. A tentative, aging safety is hard to pay $8M. Ramsey could fit in there easily.

Griffin absolutely needs to be gone; he's way overstayed his welcome here. Also, McCourty needs to be the #2 corner and Cox needs to be the nickelback. We need a #1 corner and a FS. If Ramsey grades out, I'm more than fine taking him.

Oh and I just don't see us being able to trade out of #1 overall. If one of the QB's performs really well at the combine/pro day and really shoots up the board, I would not want us to move out for anything less than what the Rams got from the Skins. With that in mind, I really can't see any team ponying up that. Especially after seeing how bad it backfired on the Skins.

I dont see Robinson taking Tunsil. I think OL additions mainly will be free agents. Bosa or Ramsey will be ours.

I agree. We've got some young players we can work with there. We desperately need veterans along the line. We can fill out depth in the later rounds.

Agreed. If Ramsey is the guy, just take him at #1 and don't even worry about it.

Over drafting players is one of the things that doomed Webster. I liked what I heard from Robinson in his press conference about making sure the value of the player equals the value of the pick.
