Morgan and McCluster both done for season

What's left of it anyway. I guess Sankey will get some carries now? I hope so. In fact, we know what we have with Andrews. We should ride Sankey a bit and see if he can do something. If not, we cut him at the end of the season.

Morgan's loss really hurts, obviously. I was hoping his injuries were all behind him. He should bounce back next season, but he was playing really well....

Probably true Old School, but no louder then when we give the ball to Dexter between the tackles. This is addition by subtraction if only because the staff can no longer misuse him (though no staff since Ole Miss has found a 'right' way to use him).

Morgan is a loss. Glad that they are fixing the problem sooner rather than later.

Does anybody know what the deal is with Morgan's shoulder? It's so annoying, since the CBA in 2011 teams release ZERO info on injuries. This guy just mysteriously showed up in the injury report one day & then missed half the season without a word about this injury.

It sucks that Mount got hurt, it would've been nice getting him some time.

Because they are different backs. Andrews is serviceable enough in the passing game for last 3 vames. Cobb can be the power back.

lol I was just messing around, ppl lighten up!

I like the way Cobb ran few weeks ago. He had a little more wiggle to him than I thought, in particular that spin move he used a few times. He does attack the hole fast, but I don't know if that is due to how slow AA is...

I rather see Cobb in on run plays, and Andrews back there for pass protection in the shotgun, and Fowler if we need to convert for a yard or so...

And to be quite honest... I really feel like we need to incorporate Fowler more into the run game... I wonder what he could do as a single back... Could he be a Tolbert type?

Why are people still insistent on seeing what Sankey has to offer? We've already seen what he brings to the table, and there is a reason why both Whiz benched him, and Mularkey continues to keep him buried on the depth chart.

Unless Cobb or Andrews get hurt, I imagine it will be status quo for Sankey.

Good point on Fowler. They should give him some reps. Anyone but Sankey lol.

why the f was McCluster getting touches ahead of Cobb anyway

Dude, Cobb is rocking an early 2011 CJ ypc right now... and the coach has said he's not sticking to play designs all the time. He's got 22 rushes for 46 yards...  meanwhile McCluster actually produces from time to time and may be the only RB who could make another NFL roster - which is not to say he's even good, but nobody should be complaining when he gets touches (type and timing, maybe) least of all when it comes at Cobb's expense.
