Terry McCormick also stated late 2nd, early 3rd on 102.5. I think Kuharsky also mentioned that the Ravens had a high 2nd round grade on him.

I know it means little, but I thought he was a mid-2nd type of player. (Top 50). Same as Bortles.

Same here, and I do not think there was 1st round QB talent in this draft besides possibly Bridgewater (although for a west coast offense, he was a 1st round talent probably.)  After watching his film, reading reports, etc., absent his injury and back problems, I think Mettenberger was the best QB prospect in this draft.

I saw where the Jags were torn between Bortles and Mettenbuger.  ZM won out because he played in FL.  So, the Titans made out like bandits getting in round six.

Bortles won out, you mean, Also, this is the Jaguars we're talking about. Shouldn't we taking their scouting abilities with a grain of salt?

After passing onTebow a few years back (wisely I might add), the lure of a Florida qb was too much for a franchise struggling to fill the seats.. just like if Murray beats out Tyler Bray I can see him being the backup to ZMB here some day,

If Mett graded out as a 4th rd talent, yet we didn't take him until the 6th, I would still imagine Jones, Huff, and Williamson all graded out higher than Mett.  Any possibility that Mett turns into an elite player would be considered less than those three, at least according to our scouting department, coaching staff, and front office.

I love the mburger pick. Excited to see if he could be a stud. Six round pick doesn't hurt the team if he's not. Anyone that feels otherwise is a pessimist a-hole who spews negativity probably because their lives suck.

Btw, I'm still on the locker wagon till the wheels fall off.

IMO, Jakes foot injury is worse than Zach's knee injury. In part because it's his plant (right) foot and the type of injury. And his playing style of running out.

I'm more concerned with whatever is going on with Zach's back than the knee.

Seriously, is Mett really that much different of a prospect than Bortles or Carr?  I think not.

Also seriously, in the end the Texan might have wished they had taken Mettenberger when he is kicking their ass every year.

The rest of the NFL doesn't thinks so

And do you really think Mettenberger is going to be starting vs. the Texans for multiple years?

OMG!

This is surely the off season..

Mett didn't drop necessarily because of size or talent concerns, it was more head and body concerns.

Oh, and, BTW nines for fuck sakes, go plant some lilies around Jax stadium to kill all the friggin Jaguars. Do you even realize how freaking annoying your massive lily thing is?

Regards

Tex
