Even Mossad’s official account claims that Mojtaba Khamenei is dead, but best I can tell they are lying. I think the report from The Sun is close to accurate, with him having lost his leg and is in a coma, with his wife and mother having been killed in the strike. Regardless, it’s clear that Larijani is effectively ruling Iran, having a hold over the IRCG (mostly by being in line with their commanders). Pezeshkian is just a figurehead.
