oldschool
Typical morons presenting themselves in this thread. Harrison is a shell of his former self. Good move by the Steelers.

WG53
He would not play OLB in a 4-3. He would be a DE.
OILERMAN
Harrison is washed up and has no place in the Titans scheme aside from an Ayers type role on passing downs. Ayers is better at this point.
gatordude731
I'm going to have to say pass on this one. Dude's 35 years old and has been in a 3-4 most of his NFL career. Just don't see where he'd fit in with our defense.
freakingeek
ive never seen this many releases in one NFL offseason. All are high profile named guys whove gotten older but the sheer amount is staggering. I think it's a sign that as these contracts get bigger and bigger for marquis players, they quickly become obsolete and financially prohibitive especially in the latter years. It's like the stock market rising and falling to level itself out. These salaries are ridiculously inflated.

Which given our history, does not bode well for us in a FA market competition. The salary details of total potential compensation that the media likes to report are similar to when the police release discuss the street value of a drug bust. OzTitan
ive never seen this many releases in one NFL offseason. All are high profile named guys whove gotten older but the sheer amount is staggering. The salary cap between 2006 and 2010 or so jumped a lot, and since then hasn't moved that much. I suspect this is part of the reason why.

OILERMAN
Aside from CMJ not being funny and not knowing anything about the team while constantly lying about things I've said in the past he's one of my favorite posters
NashvilleNinja
He would not play OLB in a 4-3. He would be a DE. Seems like even less of an incentive to me.
Legaltitan
No to Harrison. And obviously he would not be brought in to a team like ours to play LB - that's just having no clue about his skillset. But even as a situational pass-rusher I don't think he has enough left in the tank. Like O said he would basically be used like Ayers on a team like ours, and Ayers is better at this point. Harrison 5 years ago? Hell yeah. Today - not so much. PASS
TampaTitan
How funny would it be if he lands in Baltimore? He's a total dick and would do that type of thing.
TampaTitan
So signing with a team that just won the SB would bea total dick move when the Steelers just cut him. Nothing dick about it at all. But the Ravens can't afford him and don't need him. Um yeah, it actually would be when you consider the level of hatred between the two organizations. It's just like leaving the Red Sox for the yankees, Ray Allen leaving Boston for the Heat. Ask Kevin Garnett if he thought bailing and joining the defending champs was a dick move. And the Ravens could absolutely use him if Kruger leaves.
