Unless he took Osborn's spot, he's still unlikely to get elevated unless there are multiple injuries to WR's.  Proche was getting elevated before him and I'd expect Osborn to do the same if he's still here.

nah... and the celebration wasn't much of anything. It was mostly people just laughing because he made it over Oliver and like 10 other guys. It was heavily predicted - even by those cheering for him to make it - that he could still be cut in the next day or two and then brought back. Which is exactly what happened. 

 

The celebrating over reaction was him being cut.. only for him to be brought back as soon as possible. 

The only thing many were wrong about was that someone would pick him up on waivers.

1 injury to Wandale would do it. Restrepo is and always was ahead of Osborn. Acting like it was Osborns slot to take and not Restrepos in disingenuous.  Why in the hell would the save Restrepo for the last cut?.. It's because they wanted teams to work out their rosters first and he'd have a better shot of coming back. They even saved a spot specifically for him. 

 

KJ Osborn is a 29 year old WR that hasnt done shit in 3 years. He's solely on the PS for returns in case Dike gets hurt. He's just the Oliver replacement in your weird little battle to hate/pit someone against Restrepo. The next in a long line of not very good players yall throw out to act like they are special - while calling people "dullards" for thinking Restrepo can make the team. The irony is too rich - and yall are too damn dull yourselves to notice; 

 

Dike - BTW - was running a lot at the Z and less so at X during like all of camp. Dabolls offense has the receivers/ routes be interchangeable .... but Saleh said they aren't doing much of that for a while until everyone understands the offense. Projecting Dike to a slot position is also some unproven wishful thinking as he hasn't proven to be able to get open underneath.

Restrepo aside, I don't get the thinking that Dike is a slot receiver. I'm sure he could play it in a pinch but to be the main guy there if Robinson went down? It'd probably be a committee approach by Dike, Ayo, and Tate. Assuming they didn't elevate XR, of course. God forbid the Titans actually elevate the "slot only" guy to actually, you know, play in the slot.

Once again, you're an idiot.  The only motivation of the team to keep a guy like Osborn would be that he's a veteran who can be elevated in a pinch and play at WR and on special teams.  Much like Carter at RB.  These guys are easy button fixes on a short notice need.   If not, you'd simply load up on cheaper, younger talent like Beatty, Montgomery, and Restrepo at WR.  I mean how fucking stupid are you people.

 

FWIW The team's depth chart prior to the cuts and all through camp had Robinson, Dike, and Osborn in the slot.  And Osborn primarily has played the slot in the pros although he can play outside too.  Pretending he's not a slot because it hurts your asinine Restrepo argument is classic you.

 

In terms of Restrepo himself, he's the new Kinsey.  Undersized, hard worker who is and likely always will be a back of the roster guy.  If the Titans felt he was the stud some of you retards pretend he is, they sure acted funny by paying top of market for Robinson, drafting Tate at 4, and keeping Ridley.
