The notion Bailey who is widely considered the best pass rusher in the draft is a part time player aka a "specialist" and therefore shouldn't be taken so high is some of the dumbest shit I've seen posted on this board in years and thats including the Politics section. I respect your experience and your intelligence even as you're being an ass. I give you my logic, backing - all of which I can source if you need it. You may watch video and I may rely on scout analysis and we can come to two very different conclusions but we'd both understand each others logic and backing. What should I call I guy who is very good at rushing the passer but a liability against the run? The last time Saleh took a guy like that he played 16% of snaps. Every team in the fucking NFL takes that trade off and its why Bailey will be a top 5 pick. But the casual who doesn't follow football and needs chatgpt to tell him everything says the guy is a specialist who shouldn't be taken that high because he wants a RB. Can you give me DE's taken in teh top 5 who were not good at run defense? I looked. They are almost all well rounded DEs. Teh only example I found was Carter and he was putrid agisnt the run last year. and that was a big part of why the giatns were near last in run defense.
