I never like the "why draft player X" when "player Y" was drafted later argument. You can say that for any position. If Love makes the grade and they want him, take him.  Why draft Carnell Tate when St Brown was a 4th round pick. Nacua was a 5th round pick. Why draft Bailey or Bain when Trey Hendrickson was a 3rd round pick. Nik Bonitto was a 2nd round pick. Achane is not in the same stratosphere as Gibbs IMO, and I don't see a Will Anderson in this draft. In our situation, if there were someone in this draft the caliber of Will Anderson available at #4, I'm taking that guy. The problem is IMO, there is noone in this draft at DE that is close to Will Anderson. I could be wrong on that, but I don't think any of these Edge/DE prospects have a Will Anderson type grade. It's not just about the grade of a player, it's maxing out the value of the pick in how it helps your team.
