Another year...another list to be mindful of.     UPDATED - 4/15/2026   Important Notes: - Every Team meets with just about every prospect at the Shrine Bowl and Se

If I don't agree with the pick, any contact with the player is obviously a smokescreen.   You see this argument every year.

The 4th pick in this years draft gets a fully guaranteed $49.07 million contract.   - No S in the NFL have that much fully guaranteed money on their contract - No off ball LB currently

Hopefully there's a good one there they can develop. Would be terrific not to have to spend a high pick on an OT next year.

Duuuuuuude... WE AIN'T TAKING FREELING! Lol

I didn’t say they’re taking Freeling. Doesn’t change the fact that betting on developmental guys at arguably the second most important position in football isnt a smart strategy.

Yeah... but if we're not taking an OT at 4 and RG is the more pressing/immediate need (it is) that we'll likely have to address in the 2nd round, then by the 3rd round aren't we entering into developmental range by default? Maybe there's a guy who's at least close to starter level that falls to the top of 4, but all you can do is hope for that, right?

I wasn’t talking about the titans specific circumstances in 2026. I was just pointing out it is extremely rare to find a QUALITY OT after the second round

Hey now, I can think of 2 or 3 examples of it working in the last 25 years or so....

Its more likely they want to draft the new swing tackle than grt a starter on day 3.

Tom Brady and Brock Purdy were late round picks! You can just find quarterbacks anywhere!

The QB argument is another funny one based largely on money/capital spent.

Late round QBs working out is rare... but also late round QBs never get the leash or opportunities and basically have to win the job over more expensive / seasoned guys immediately in order to maintain a roster spot. Where as worse guys with flashier traits may get several years to prove themselves. There's also not enough QB reps to develop later drafted players.

So a big part of the QB argument is essentially that even if all things were equal, 1st round QBs will pan out more because of the investment put into 1st round QBs. The exact same player drafted in the 5th will fail significantly more because the leash is short and the money is cheap. It's kind of a sunk cost fallacy

Im not saying all QBs are the same of course and clearly 1st round guys are there because they are usually the most talented with the best résumé's

It a fair argument but a really hard one to test since no1 is going to be the one taking the risk voluntarily.

All the tate talk for nothing when we can draft JJ as a LB in the 5th and switch him back to WR.

Edit: dude is 6 foot 220, if anything it shows they are willing to play an undersized guy at will, atleast on passing downs.
