What about those that employ the illegals?  Do we get to choose which laws of the land that we obey?

Well, I think I was pretty clear that I'm not sure if my workers are legal or not. Never bothered to check but I'm 90% sure most of them are illegal.
Like I said. Feel free to report all of them in LA to ICE if you want to go after me.

I believe the Mexican Mafia have green lit a sizeable bounty on the murder of each ICE officer.

If you feel like that's the side you'd like to take, feel free to do whatever tickles your fancy.

I've probably unwittingly violated the federal laws that have never been enforced until recently on an extremely limited basis.  I guarantee you that Trump will barely leave a dent in Los Angeles' immigration population.   Like I said. None of my boys are missing. They've all worked every day I needed their services.  However, some of my friends have lost some sketchy ass neighbors and the honest ones are happy about it.  So far, where I'm at, it seems like they are exclusively going after the criminals as they should.

When atheists and agnostics argue the Bible online with a Christian whose own spiritual teacher disowned him, you know you're witnessing a truly meaningful conversation.

Don't most of their spiritual advisors end up going to prison for child molestation or financial fraud?

I hope you're not talking about me.  But if you are, I have a good relationship with all of my previous spiritual mentors.  Just because I don't see eye to eye with one of them politically doesn't mean I hate them or vice versa.  I'm still interested in their perspective and I actually read an entire book that he wrote that politically (and biblically) I largely disagree with.  I would love to have a conversation with him one day but he's much more influential than I am, busier, and he does travel a lot so I'm never quite sure if he's in my area.

I would actually love to be friends with some of you guys on the other side as well and have a friendly dialogue or even a heated debate.  And if we lived close enough, grab some coffee or food even.  The problem I have is when I hear rhetoric like "I hope the other side dies" or "we should grab guns and shoot the opposition."  I am all for free speech but I don't think any of that is actually useful nor is it beneficial to the side that says these things.  Calling the other side fascists and Nazis also are not helpful.  These things will actually deter reasonable people from wanting to join your side because wanting to kill someone due to their beliefs (no matter how stupid it may be) or laughing at the death of your political opposition is typically not how most reasonable people think nor react.

For anyone that wants to glean meaningful teachings from the Bible that so many want to take literally, maybe read about how the Bible was constructed, who wrote it, the context in which it was written, how it was translated and how texts were added, deleted, and edited.

You can read it 100x through and not understand anything about it or one could understand the context of it, speed read through it and be much more informed - siphoning through the bullshit for actual thought provoking and occassionally helpful life lessons.

Signal and the noise.

I'd say this is also helpful for reading any religious text, helpful in reading Dickens/Twain, government documents, history, an email, nutritional labels, and any news.

Familiarize yourself with the person/ perspective/ blah/ blah before claiming knowledge on shit. That requires extra attention, energy on thought and empathy, which we know humans are not good. Period. Especially these days.

Anyway, hearing about a rocket fly then reading about how it works on magic liquid then finding the instruction manual to then have a farmer only trained on the instruction manual to make the magic formula, not the chemistry, to then translate that to the masses and YOU without them fielding meaningful inquiries, and then calling yourself a quantum physicist when you're not really certain how your own lighter works DOES NOT make you a rocket propulsion expert.

It's impossible to argue with idiots. It's easy to engineer them towards something different, if you knew their context, how they were constructed, how they've been interpreted in the world - using that bit of extra energy on thought and empathy.

I'm not the cunt for that job, though!

For me, life is too short to suffer these rat fuck fools with anything but apathy in good days and ridicule on most days!

Hope there is a hell so I can get away from those arrogant, slimy, syphillic wound slurping, drippy dog shit scum of decomposition bacterium colonies that infect our daily life, history, and progress of any future potential in this earth.

I do my best to help thy neighbor and keep my shits kind of normal and regular before I turn 40, no time for extracurricular niceties for that ilk. Hope someone does, though!

The good and faithful ones don't make the news.

Only the molesters, philanderers, and scam artists make it into the juicy, click-worthy stories.
A small number of them also get away without being reported or disciplined.  Humans are depraved.  The sooner you realize, the lesser your head and heart will ache.

And as @reo points out…. the fascinating part is watching the mental gymnastics undertaken by people of faith to justify their support for an individual  who is objectively the antithesis of Christ’s teachings and everything he stood for.

As opposed to what?  Supporting the side that kills babies, promotes homo activity, demands secularism, and props up mentally messed up trannies?   I think not.

Unlike GOP policy, none of those violate anything that Jesus says in the Bible…

LOL if you think Jesus would be ok with killing babies or advocating for secularism.  Jesus didn't address every sin imaginable, so him not mentioning it does not mean anything.   Although he did make it clear marriage was between a man and a woman.
