AJ and another WR (smith?) were sitting on the sideline looking pissed. Covering their mouths while talking to each other.

The targets he's getting is criminally low and whenever Hurts scrambles he never looks at AJ.

Also, on top of wining, AJ probably wants to be a HOFer. He cant do that with Hurts and this passing game. The Offense is actively not using its best players in favor of a running game that can be more easily stopped.

Eagles fans are done with their OC... Iseems like some of the players are too.

He got his superbowl. I could see him ask to be traded somewhere that passes a lot more.

Chiefs, probably. Watch them trade Hollywood and a pick to the Eagles for him. Then the Chiefs would have AJB, Rice, and Worthy.

Landry has the same pass rush win rate as Maxx Crosby this year

How did the Titans fuck up yet another internal player evaluation this badly?  They decided Dremont Jones was worth paying, but not him?

At least with Robinson, we got some comp picks for the good players who walked and there was an argument to be made for them being overpriced .  But the Titans are now letting good, cheap players walk and getting nothing in return, and are signing guys who absolutely suck.

The use of stats without context is a never ending thing. Landry was not good here the last few years and he'll fall off in NE too. You can always tell who doesnt actually watch games.

Your claim that he's going to fall off is valid.  In all likelihood, he won't end the season at that level.  But it's also clear that he's leagues better than Jones.  Paying another player who has been absolutely terrible makes the decision to cut Landry look stupid.

No it doesn't. The two aren't related. The team wanted to move on and Landry was a Vrabel guy. Just because Jones sucks doesn't mean they should have paid Landry a boat load on the backend of his contract.

Nearly all of the cap savings they had from cutting Landry was blown on Jones and his ridiculous 4% pressure rate.  the FO absolutely does deserve to be criticized for spending the same amount of money as they would have by keeping Landry getting far worse results.

It's always dumb to thin the roster out unnecessarily. Losing Landry was unnecessary.

I was Landry's biggest supporter here but his pass rush win rate last season was atrocious there was no way they were keeping him the way he was playing at the end of last year.

If people want to be critical of the move be critical of their choice of replacement for Landry.

Ya,i was a prettybig defender of his as well, pointing to his ability to do a bit of everything makes up for the fact he was mostly just a finisher in the pass rush game.

No1 hits on every move, this missed on this one, live with it. He was seemingly on the down turn, was going to need new money soon, didnt fit the type of edge they wanted. Lots of reasons to move on.
