CreepingDeath
GRRM said he was not happy with the show cutting out the other Tyrells. There's another brother for which he has plans. I bring this up because it would be fairly easy to make a character we barely know into the king/Queen. As for the white walkers, we know very little from the books. From the show, we see them turning human babies into their kind. Following that, we don't know their over all numbers. Further, they are the "other" that is feared and not understood. Similar to other religions or cultures. We already know details of 4 religions (Old, 7, Drowned, and Fire) - a necromancing ice religion fits right in. My expectation is we get a Benjen reveal in the far north. Beyond that, no idea.

Common GOT set up before the death I got the same sense from Hot Pie's cockiness that I did right before Oberyn died!
Jamalisms
How's this for bittersweet - Jon and Dany fall in love. They're losing. Humanity is losing. Jon figures out that to stop the Night Walkers he has to become their leader. He finds a child of the forest and puts dragon-glass in his own heart. Royal Rumble of Night Walkers ensues -Jon is the last one standing. Takes his army North.
Starkiller
Well if you go from the tale of Azor Ahai, who had to kill his beloved wife to forge his mythical sword Lightbringer, maybe Jon or Dany will have to sacrifice the other.

Yep, that's my partial combination of that story with the gender switch and what we saw in the show about Night Walker creation.
