NashvilleNinja
Even though getting to binge 6 full seasons was pretty sweet I wish I hadn't waited as long as I did to watch this show. I didn't realize how hard it was to avoid spoilers. I'm just glad I didn't find out about what happened in The Rains Of Cashmere until it happened. I gotta hand it to George Martin... dude's a sick bastard. He must've known a real-life family like the Starks... all noble and honorable, to the point of being annoyingly arrogant about it. That family gets fucked in the ass by alcohol soaked razorblades every time they turn around. At least the gods realized they took one too many Starks when Snow got put on Walter White's shank list. Never had a show punch me in the gut like this one has. Might be my favorite show of all time now. Didn't think that would happen after Breaking Bad. reo, and Jamalisms

It just wasn't on my radar the first few years it was on. I started hearing people talk, but I didn't know anything about it so I just kept putting it off. In a way I'm glad I haven't watched it until now because the whole world of GoT is brand new to me so I get to enjoy discovering all the details of the stories that everyone else has lived with for a long time. It sucks missing out on the discussion of it, but there's at least one more season coming so now I get to wait impatiently with everyone else. nine
Hopefully you won't be like me....my wife and I discovered GoT a year ago, got hooked, and binge-watched the series over a 2-3 month period. When this season finally started, I quickly realized I'd forgotten many of the characters' names and many details of the story leading up to this point. Rogue
My daughter finally decided to watch the show so we started it all over from the beginning last night. 90% or so of the cast are dead now.

By the time season 7 rolls around I'll probably have rewatched 1-6 a good 3 or 4 times.

After they kill the white walkers, they need to fight each other and one of them needs to die. He needs to go all Shakespeare on them and have Jon behead Dany, then the last remaining dragon eats Jon, then the dragon is taken down. Everyone else of note is pretty much dead too by this point. I'd say Tyrion walks out in the end to make a final speech but he's way too significant to be a Fortinbras.
pat
Watching Agents of Shield to fill the gap and its stunningly good. 3 densly plotted 20+ episode seasons makes it longer than GoT in length
Rogue
I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the show from the beginning again. It's actually better now knowing the story arcs. All the relationships and interactions are just more meaningful now. I had forgotten the Tyrion/Jon camaraderie. Fairly sure there's some foreshadowing there. Fun watching it all again.
