You used to be unable to directly aid a runner by pushing them forward. That rule needs to come back. Or the defense needs to be able to counter with their own tush push. Another way of potentially nullifying the Eagle advantage, in the event that the defense gets to deploy their own tush push, is to make an offense have to declare the push. Meaning, if they get into the formation to run it then they have to then commit to running it. No checking out of it, running a trick play, or even calling a time out. If you try to do any of that you get hit with a 5 yard penalty.
titanskick8851
Sure would have been nice to have had a nice trade chip in Will Levis with all these QB injuries. oldschool

McCarthy might be Mr. Glass. The best ability is availability. Already one season ending injury for McCarthy last year when he barely played now this. oldschool
Wonder how the vikings are feeling about McCarthy. Hes been horrid for 7/8 quarters to start the year and is now sidelined with a high ankle sprain.

I used to have Burrow over Herbert but I'm thinking about moving him down and Herbert up. I know the OL has been bad there, but Burrow has missed A LOT of time in his career with injuries.. It's crippling when the QB is out that much. Totally derails your season. You can't have your QB constantly missing time like that. rns90
AussieTitanFan08
Having a shorter QB who relies on a strong interior pocket this is a brutal blow to the Panthers who were already struggling.
Stan
These injuries are all a direct cause of lite camps less physical contact in training camp and preseason and more injuries will happen.

Maybe... but I've also wondered if there is a longer-term issue that has roots in our food supply, that has weakened people in general over time. I mean... look at players in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Look at Earl Campbell and the abuse he took (and gave out). Is there any modern RB who could have the same run he had being as violent as he was? Idk, just something I've wondered. I know nutrition and training is supposed to be more advanced now, and maybe it's just bad info/perception but it seems like players are more brittle now. Maybe people in general are more brittle? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oldschool

Add in the guys hitting you are also the same super mutants and its kinda a given. They also ignored alot of stuff they shouldn't have back in the day. oldschool
