Pic of the local BK shortly after rush hour last night, 'bout 6:15pm.  Drive thru was hopping pretty decent.  Need to see scine's 1 car drive thru pic soon!

Chick-fil-A actively hires within church communities and youth groups.    These kids are often nice, hardworking, honest, and willing to please. ..and White bread as fuck.    Putti

There's a Chick Fil'A across from Burger King near where I live.  The Chick Fil'A always has a long line and there's never anyone at the Burger King.  And I notice that at other Burger Kings too.

They are shuting down all the bk's here. Like someone else said, never anyone there and still slow as shit.

Might not be the food so much as it's the customer service. Chick Fil A is an anomaly in that thay way. Their customer service is phenomenal. You always see long lines there, but those lines are always moving

If you have good customer service, even if the food isn't great, you will retain customers. People aren't looking for best meal they'll ever have at a fast food place, but they would like decent service.

Yeah, except I never see anyone at BK, and if I do see someone it's one person.  Drive by a McDonalds and a Burger King.  It's night and day.  And I don't think it's because BK is so fast that people are getting through the line so quickly.

McDonald's is the Microsoft Windows of fast food. Just because it's ubiquitous doesn't mean that it's good. And their fries are straight ass. They're potato chips in stick form. You can't defend anything that starts going stale 2 minutes after it leaves the fryer so don't even try.

I'm not saying it is.  My point is that people just don't appear to be going to Burger King.  Two people from different parts of the country just said the same thing in this thread.

Funny this is being discussed. I said just about a month ago to a friend "who eats at Burger King?" and was serious. There's never anyone in the drive through. And how long has it been since you've heard someone say they went there? Been years and years since I've personally known or seen someone eat Burger King.

It seems to be very location dependent. Some places I go they are ghost towns(like here) other plces they are regular fast food busy, never seen a super busy one though.

Oddly enough wendys also gets no buisness around here and they get good buisness everyone else I see them.

It's definitely location dependent. One Wendy's shut down in a high traffic area in West Nashville and became something else. I don't know why though. Maybe they weren't getting enough business but idk about that because they were right next to a gas station and seemed to have people there any time I'd go through.

They could have just had a surprise inspection and found the place disgusting/violating codes. And instead of refurbishing the place Wendy's corporate just said fuck it and moved out.

I just drove by a BK and sure enough there was one car in the drive thru.  I made sure to pay attention based on this discussion.

I'll do the same and start keeping track and we'll reconvene in a few weeks. There's a conspiracy somewhere in there!
