Back then (as a kid) the original WWF was very entertaining even when I knew it was fake. Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Jake the Snake Roberts, Macho Man....it was entertaining as fuck and honestly better than most boxing matches not involving Mike Tyson. Well acted by all. Honestly it felt like a movie that was made in the 1970s. Had that feel to it. Soderberg always directs these character pieces designed as “genre” fare.
