His wife was fectiming him, and Mike Singletary was almost in tears during his speech Kid beside me asked his dad "Is he dead?". They got diagnosed with ALS years ago before McMicheals diagnosis and they look worlds better than him. I didn’t repick Shaw because it would be a waste. They have to have a wikipedia page or be verifiable but yeah--it's a strategy. It doesn't always play out, as death row is as variable as picking someone like Jimmy Carter, who looks like they should die any second, as with death row there are a lot of appeals and stays of executions.
