Your Draft Guys

So, I got the Idea from a post earlier. What's everyone's favorite players in this draft? And what guys are you not as sold on or down right hate?

My Guys

Alt, I really think he is going to be damn good. I was going to leave him off so everyone doesn't do Alt and Nabers but thought I have been pounding the table for this guy and it would be disingenuous if I did.

Ulofoshio LB Washington. 4th-6th round. Great coverage guy. I can see him stepping in early and wearing the dot. Good size and speed. Lots of starts and production.

Roger Rosengarten, RT Washington. Crazy movement skills for a RT. Very energetic. Good pass blocker, I think he is one of the few guys after round 1 that can start day one and can do it on either side.

Malik Washington, the more I watched the more I don't think he will have any chance of falling to the 4th for us but if he does this guy is the slot people dream of.

Not my Guys

Olu, I just don't see it with him. He gets pushed back to the QB a lot and his run blocking makes me want to tear my hair out.

Brandon Dorlus, if you can get him in round 5+ I am fine with him but I just don't see the fight and pass rushing ability from this guy I would want in a 3rd or 4th round lineman.

Bralen Trice, watching this dude move reminds me of Haskins and that bad enough for a RB let alone an edge.

Honorable mention to Marist, love the dude but Ulofoshio is my first choice of LB

I kind of remember this guy winning mostly on effort so I quickly watched a youtube vid that feature all his rushes from the game vs OSU.  It was worse than I thought.  Most of his pressures came from stunts inside.  He won a few times outside but those were the exceptions and he just straight out got stoned most of the times.  And there were some other times where the other DL got most of the pressure and the QB ended up running near him.

You'd expect a few more one on one wins as an edge rusher.

Alt/Nabors/MHJ are the elite prospects and have been from day 1.

Fautanu has the best kick step in college and excellent feet overall to go with a mean streak. He can get overwhelmed by pure power rushers.

Robinson is an Autry clone. Same type testing (not great) but has clubs for hands, wicked counter moves, and has this amazing ability to make himself into gumby to hit small holes and cause pressure/sacks/TFL.

Tip Rieman has upside as a pass catcher and is a lethal in-line blocker. Reminds me a lot of Mark Andrews.

Malik Washington is a great route runner and excellent off press. If he had an extra gear he'd easily be a day 2 pick.

Don't like....

J.C. FUCKING LATHAM!

Thought about putting Fautanu as well but then I'd have 80% huskies on my list. He is my LT2.

And we all love Robinson. Only unanimous thing around here lately.

I just liked your thread and wanted to add. I haven't done a ton of work on the late round picks.

I did think it was funny  how close our lists were. I'm also not a huge fan of Olu. His play strength is going to be a problem.

I like Olu a lot.  He is my OT1.

Javon Baker at Wr is a guy I think is being underrated.

While maybe not the best athlete, tommy eichenberg is a guy I think will be a long time starter in this league.

Guys I don't like are

Jc Latham.  Just don't get the hype.

Troy Franklin.  When I watch him play I just don't see anything special about the guy.

I went back and forth between baker and Washington. Really don't think you can go wrong with either but I like the fit with Washington more. Baker if he hits his ceiling though could be special.

Olu, Suamataia, and Puni for OL.

For WR: of course Nabors but Ladd, Xavier, or Brian T JR would be more realistic.

As many of you may have noted, I'm not high on Alt. I don't think he will be a bust but he's got some growing to do. He was a 3 star coming out of high school - and an OL convert. He's barely drinking age. I'm not saying he won't be an All-pro, but it won't be 2024. He won't be much better than Dilliard in his first year.

Ideally, you trade back for a 3rd, pick up Olu, Ladd and Puni 1-2-3. In the mocks I've done taking Bowers or whatever receiver is left...there are no starting OTs left in round 2. That means you need to pick one because top 8 will likely go round 1. There's always receivers in this draft round 2. You need that 3rd rounder for any shot at Puni.

Edge: Mohamed Kamara shoutout @Callidus for noticing him too. Kamara has that disruptive dawg mindset like Autry with more quickness than size. He's gonna be a household name in a couple years. Honorable mention: Marshawn Kneeland

I would have had kamara on my list but I tried to spread it out my rounds. If he is there in the 4th and we go the wr then tackle route my table pounding will switch to him. The kid they brought in jalyx hunt is super interesting but also super raw.

Kneeland is also very impressive. If he was the pick round two I would be very happy with that as well. Also more likely imo.

QB:

RB: Corum, Lloyd, Irving

WR: Nabers, Odunze, Legette, Thomas, Franklin, Wilson, Walker, McConkey, Pearsall, M. Washington, Rice, McCaffrey, T. Washington

TE: Sanders, Bell, Sinnott

OT: Alt, Fashanu, Guyton, Paul, Fisher, Amegadjie, Suamataia

OG: Fuaga, Morgan, Haynes

OC: Barton, Powers

DL: Fiske, Boyd

Edge: Turner, Verse, Robinson, Braswell, Isaac, Kamara

LB: Wilson, Cooper, Colson, Gray, Magee, Wallace, Ford

CB: Arnold, Wiggins, McKinstry, James, Tampa, Kamal Hadden as a late round flyer

S: Dejean, Bullard

Honestly, the back half of this draft class is pretty weak. I don't think there will be many sleepers this year, and top 100 picks should be premium. One more reason I think the Titans should try to trade down in the second to acquire an extra top 100 pick.
