I'll def be rooting for Tyson

Having nothing to do with this match.... Tyson is one of the most overrated heavy weight champs of all time.    Name his best win. Michael Spinks? A light heavy weight coward who didn't even

Imagine paying for a ringside seat to this crap lol

I think Tyson not training regularly and him almost dying in that medical emergency (lost 8 liters of blood) fucked his body.  As someone that trains pretty regularly and still grapples/spars, if you take time off it’s miserable when you come back.  I can’t imagine doing it at his age.  We always have a few older folks that used to be regulars show up at the gym, but most quit after that first class just because everything is locked up and hurts.

And Mike always trained hard and sparred hard when he was coming up in boxing…that also takes a toll.

There is also the very real possibility that this is a worked shoot.  Logan and Jake both love wrestling (Tyson too for that matter), and I wouldn’t be surprised that this was an exhibition masquerading as an actual fight.

Tyson didn't always train hard. It's actually the opposite. He famously didn't train at all for the Douglas and first Hollyfield fight. He was close to 240 against Lewis and fat and quickly ran out of gas. He's always lacked discipline.

Jake Paul purposely hand picks opponents he can win against. It's why he picked Tyson. Vegas knew.

Tyson still had this "aura" as the baddest man on the planet. He did some sparring and hit a heavy bag and people thought that translated into something meaningful.

Of course a 58yr old pot head lost

I’d argue that he lost the aura after the Lennox Lewis fight.

And to be fair he was never the same  boxer after he got out of jail.

Well it came back before the Paul fight. Look how many people were going crazy over him sparring or hitting the heavy bag. A ton of people legit thought he'd knock Paul out.

And I'd argue he fought better fighters after jail. He fought one in shape motivated fighter before Jail, Douglas. Who destroyed him.

For real Though, how did Taylor win a unanimous decision when Serrano threw more punches, hit more punches, and had a higher % of landed shots, plus Taylor’s head butted her like 3 times? Vegas rigged that shit

Because Taylor won more rounds

These should have been the rules

I'm a firm believer Tyson, an old man and not very good or motivated right now, held back multiple times throughout the fight and was simply taking a payday. Plenty of odd shit in that fight.

Regardless, if you're going to watch an old man fight a not-that-good-YouTuber who doesn't fight real boxers, don't let them make more money the longer the fight goes. In fact, yes, make winning the fight the only way you get paid beyond documented expenses.

Win by knockout you mean?

This is actually a great idea.  Change the rules so there are no more decisions.  The only way to win is by knockout.  If no one gets knocked out, there is no winner.

I don't care if you win by knockout but Mike Tyson making $20 million to pull some of his punches - on the rare occasions he actually threw punches - is not the type of thing that's going to motivate him to actually try.

Now we get to watch Jake Paul get destroyed

Jake Paul will enter the ring to face Anthony Joshua on Friday, Dec. 19, in a sanctioned heavyweight fight.

I would expect this fight to be comparable to the logan paul vs mayweather fight. Anthony Joshua could walk right through Paul if he wanted to. The size and reach difference alone gives him a massive advantage. Its wild Jake Paul gets to continue to call these pro fights.
