I'd take David Shaw or Brian Johnson over him personally, but he seems to be a bright offensive mind - did relatively well being thrust into the play calling role in Vegas given the sudden upheaval there. Has the direct connection to Callahan and the connections to Gase/Wilson so just seems like someone they will strongly consider. Assuming Olson isn't available. Currently at Oklahoma State coaching Quarterbacks. I kind of like the idea of a former NFL QB turn QB coach, I also think he would mesh with Levis as Ratty was a grinder back in the day to accomplish what he did at the college level.
