Hate to go there but since it’s a hypothetical anyway, but if Maye is available at 7, the Titans trade down or do they even consider it?

Maye and Levis are practically the same player in terms of mold

QB dominos....

1.  What do the bears do about Justin Fields?

2.  Second domino for the Titans....what do the Falcons @ #8 do, if anything, in free agency about QB?

The Bears are trading Fields unless something crazy happens. The Gm can't pass on the top pick two years in a row and keep his job if Fields doesn't turn into a franchise QB and soon. The Falcons are really interesting. They very clearly could move up for a QB but they don't have to as the teams with picks 4-7 aren't going QB. That leaves Falcons in a prime spot to get QB4 who I think we be McCarthy. Of course they have to worry about another team leap frogging them which is the only way moving up makes sense. I could see the Falcons and Chargers swapping picks in that scenario.

Some people seem to think the same of his WR Roman Wilson.

George Kittle was used primarily as a blocking TE. AJ Brown was used primarily as a slot WR. How a guy is used in college isn't necessarily an indictment on what type of player he is or can be. The way Harbaugh likes to play offense isn't real conducive towards big passing numbers, I think you have to differentiate the system from the skillset.

Caleb Williams is clearly special.  It sounds like Hoge was too high on Justin Fields prior to the draft and is coping

I don't think so.  He reminds me of Winston.  I think Maye Daniels Penix and Pratt will be better than him in the NFL.  It makes sense the Bears would give up on Fields and go for Williams.  The Bears have sucked because their FO and scouts have been terrible since the 1980s
