There's really no benefit outside of 15 minutes of fame and a ton of recourse if they're lying - maybe moreso if they're not lying. These guys are getting a LOT of attention in the UFO community (I see it on Reddit even though I don’t follow it). There are incentives for them to lie (if that’s what they are doing, but I’m not arguing that). It’s not like they are going to be prosecuted as long as they aren’t giving up classified secrets. As for what they can and do say in a closed door setting that they refuse to talk about in an open setting, it’s just more fuel for the people who want to believe. Regardless, it’s not evidence unless we actually see it.

The two pilots were telling the truth of encounters they've had that were documented and witnessed.

I found several hypothesis on different videos from experts, but no conclusions. Which is why I thought this was still a discussion in congress. I doubt all of it was because the very nature of it is that it couldn’t be immediately explained. But a lot of it was. And the claims that are just word of mouth with no video evidence obviously can’t be debunked as some sort of sensor anomaly or unfocused lens like the videos were. But even if they are being honest about what they saw doesn’t change the fact that, even in a court of law with mundane matter, eyewitness statement are notoriously untrustworthy. IsntLifeFunny
For SK it's going to take Col. Will Smith in the Oval with the Alien to think it's worthwhile not to dismiss the fact aerial phenomenon are happening all over the world and to listen to 3 people with high level expertise say directly we don't know. Also, just to add @Starkiller Grusch said he believed he could provide the people who recovered/observed non-human biogenics for Congress. So take that for what it's worth. Perhaps I’ll be impressed when those people actually testify then. Possibly they will release research into that non-human material, too. Until then, I’ll be sitting here on the 3rd rock from the sun waiting from a call from the Big Giant Head… Edited July 31, 2023 by Starkiller
Popular Post IrishTitansFan
I am 100% sure there are highly intelligent and civilised beings somewhere in the universe. I am also 99.999% sure these guys who say there are aliens cutting about on earth are hilariously wrong. It's just fucking preposterous. They are stupid, lying or both. If they have spacecraft which can move quickly enough to reach earth from light years away then how are they being seen (and shot down!!!) by US military with their own two eyes? Unless you think they want to be seen, in which case why don't they communicate? It's absolutely ludicrous to believe any of this nonsense without hard evidence. I watched large chunks of the hearing and it's two military pilots (likely meatheads) who can't comprehend anything possibly existing beyond what the US have developed and a guy who basically said he heard they have aircraft LOL!!! These people are akin to those who think jesus came to visit them through their toast Edited July 31, 2023 by IrishTitansFan titanruss, chef, OILERMAN, and 2 others

heyitsmeallen
I believe their accounts. All 3 if these men are highly decorated and trustworthy. Hearing directly from one of the pilots that saw the tic tac with his own eyes was awesome. Ferver was also the commander of the unit at the time. How he explained that what the craft did defied all physics that we know of, and that the tech was so far above anything the US had or would have in the next decade plus was pretty interesting. He also said he wasn’t an “alien guy” and refused to testify multiple times at the hearing until one of his friends convinced him. He has no reason to lie about what he saw. I was disappointed in the amount of things that were too confidential to be said in a public hearing, but the senators all seem to be taking this whistleblower claim very seriously and said there will be another hearing once they are briefed on the classified info that couldn’t be shared. One thing I found really interesting was that we have apparently found “non human biologics” at these crash sites. Obviously that could be biologics from any animal on earth, but Grusch was being very careful with his words and after declining to answer a few questions about “alien” pilots he gave the biologics answer. Senator Ogles also threatened to use the Holman rule on any agency or individual that tries to block them investigating further once they are briefed on the classified info. Remember when the Chilean military spent 2 years investigating a UFO, it was lauded as being genuinely unidentified and then within a day or two of the video being released it was identified as a flight taking off from Santiago!? LOL! These people don't understand anything about why they see certain things. That particular "UFO" was because of viewing angle, infrared camera etc The "tic tac" incident was debunked as a distant plane with the camera switching modes The military in this case are clearly lying or just complete idiots

But yeah that was hilarious. The tic tac was “debunked” by a guy analyzing the video and hypothesizing what it actually is. I tend to believe the actual pilot who was a colonel in the Navy and commander of the FA-18 squadron that saw the UAP in person.. but that’s just me. There are also the claims of Graves who was also a pilot in the Navy and he said that sightings were common and accounts were consistent(many people saw a “dark black cube inside of a clear sphere”) but there is a stigma in the navy and among commercial pilots of not reporting these sightings because it could jeopardize their careers. He was mainly testifying because he wants there to be a safe reporting system for these sightings where pilots don’t have to fear retribution. The Military absolutely could be lying and this whole thing could be some sort of charade. Some people have speculated that the reason we are getting this “disclosure” now is because the contractors that the GOV has working on advanced tech(Boeing, Lockheed… etc) might have come up with something they don’t want to share with the US GOV and this is somehow our way of getting the tech back. personally I don’t see anything wrong with investigating the claims. Our taxes pay for these programs, so we deserve to know if they are real or not. IsntLifeFunny

Strunk'sDessert
Don't have time or desire to die on this hill. I may overstated my original stance, but I'll try to simplify it as this: There's a massive distance between thinking the sphinx was built by aliens, they're living and time travelling among us while they're building weather balloons as hobbies AND my standpoint of "fuck if anyone of us actually know, there's still things we haven't figured out in the universe. This seems like something as good as anything to press for more answers and conclusions on if we're already doing it" I just think drawing a hard line on the topic in either direction foolish.
