Funny that was the same thing I was told about Isiah Wilson and Caleb Farley when I was also pissed when JRob selected them.

The NFL told everyone how they felt about Levis compared with the other 3 top QB's in this draft, if the Titans expected him to be their sure fire QBOTF they wouldn't of passed on him at 11.

No QB in the draft is a sure fire unless you have an Andrew Luck or a Manning. You got one QB who is tiny af, one QB who is dumb af and another QB who is inaccurate af with a 54% completion percentage. There is really no telling if any of these QBs will be anything

I mean, that’s valid. I just don’t see the point in getting worked up at the moment when NONE of them have take a snap and we really don’t know what their respective careers will look like.

If it ends up flopping, they will try again. Not much you can do about it at this point. But automatically assuming the worst? Not a way I would want to live life, but you do you.

Pretty sure the Colts owner forced them to draft Richardson, he's going to bust

Its got nothing to do with assuming the worst its making a judgement on whether you believe a prospect will be good or not, personally I don't see anything special in Levis and would preferred after the top 3 QB's were taken this front office used a little patience and pushed the QBOTF search into next offseason rather than settle for Levis.

The one thing Carthon had done a good job before the draft was leaving all options on the table for next offseason by selecting Levis and trading away another premium draft pick he in all likelihood has taken QB off the table in the 2024 draft where there could be some interesting options outside the top 2 (Williams/Maye).

Have said it previously I think there is a better chance of Richardson becoming something in the NFL than there is with Levis.

Here is the list of the last drafts 4th QB drafted:

2022: Matt Corral

2021: Justin Fields

2020: Jordan Love

2019: Drew Lock

2018: Josh Rosen

2017: DeShone Kizer

2016: Christian Hackenberg

2015: Sean Mannion

2014: Derek Carr

2013: Matt Barkley

JUST LMFAO

Well...🧐  Sooner or later some team is going to roll a 7.

We are getting too negative about a second round selection @QB.  A second gives them the luxury of seeing for an entire season if he can play.  They'll know by next season. If no they are free to draft another one.  They have an actual competition.  Loser is the b/u.

This wasn't a great QB class.  Not until all the hype got going.  NFL teams main marketing tool is QBs.    So, Panther fan is happy as hell with his 5'10", 185lb QB!  Set for a decade!  Colts fan is talking about Super Bowls!  Gonna win em' with a QB who has 1.5yrs starting experience in college and didn't set any kind of records.

I didn't like the stuff I saw on Levis before the draft but I don't have a concrete opinion and I hope he's great.

But what's really funny is seeing all the people talk themselves into liking the pick after roasting him before the Titans picked him

Don’t worry, I’ll stay down on him for the rest of the board.

We all hope he succeeds especially as the team has sunk the equivalent of a late first round pick into drafting him.

It is also fair to question whether Levis is the right player to be the presumptive QBOTF which this new regime plans to build around going forward.

Levis is what he was last week, the guy none* of us wanted.  Then a miracle happened.  The Titans traded up in the second round to get him.

getting ready clark kent GIF by HULU

Start him!  Oh shit, we don't have a fifth year option!!

That is one of the funnier thing to sit back and watch. All these guys hated Levis with a passion.

This is the most concerning data point of them all when it comes to Levis. It just reinforces that unless you hit the lottery with a guy like Brady, Brees, Wilson, etc.... the likelyhood of finding a franchise QB outside of the top 10 is minimal.

Mike Keith mentioned on his podcast that Malik Willis has made, paraphrasing here, "amazing improvements" over the off season.
