Thought Henry looked good last year and our OL sucked

The OL should be much improved this year.  It's kinda tough to tell from last year how much was Henry and how much was poor supporting cast but a guy putting up 1500 yards behind that line is not 'done'.

The whole line was.  Davis was the best guy out there once Lewan and Ben Jones got hurt.  That should tell you pretty much everything.

He was actually good in the running game until teams started overloading the LOS when we had no passing threat to speak of.

It's really not even about Henry and how much he has left.

It's about the offensive philosophy and running Henry into stacked boxes on conflicted downs. This is terribly inefficient and has to be fixed.

Spears and Whyle/Chig give the offense the ability to line up in heavy run formations and throw to these guys for explosive plays. They can even get defenses in base sets and spread the field and create mismatches.

I truly believe the days of lining up Henry and pounding him 30 times is over. If it's not over they need to fire Vrabel. But it's obvious from the draft it is over.

He put up the stats, but it was clear to me he was slowing down and going down easier. As an earlier poster said, Father Time catches up to us all, running backs faster than others.

It's not over until a QB emergers and shows he can carry us in a modern offense. Whether it's Tannehill, Levis or anyone else.

Wish the Titans would be more engaging with their fans and release content like this post draft, so many teams are now releasing extended post draft specials peeking behind the curtain showing real time war room footage of the discussions that took place while they are on the clock.

Depending on whether conditions were filled on the Tyree Gillespie trade last offseason.

The Titans currently are scheduled to have

1st Round

2nd Round

4th Round

7th Round

7th Round Panthers Pick (Dennis Daley Trade)

7th Round Eagles Pick (Ugo Amadi Trade)

Just some clarification on the Tyree Gillespie conditional 7th round pick according to this article when the Titans cut Gillespie during the final roster cutdowns last year that voided that pick going to the Raiders.

So despite some sites like Tankathon suggesting the Titans currently owning 5 picks in the 2024 draft it should be 6 as laid out in the above quoted post.
