Titans will not tender RFA Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

NWI will be cheap and is valuable as a depth piece. Can’t rely on him as the #2 though. Still, he’s not irreplaceable and if there is a guy they like who is more athletic, wouldn’t be opposed to them moving on.

NWI is a great #5 WR, a good #4 WR, a below average #3 WR, and a terrible #2 WR.

He is worth the vet min, but not  much more.

Our main issue was he was playing ~2 slots higher than he should of been due to injuries and scrubs on our roster at WR.

Yep, I can't be mad at him, he was put in a bad position and just couldn't deliver as a number 2.  Doesn't mean he wasn't killing himself for the team.

bring him back as a 4 or 5 and hopefully the team doesn't get in a position that he has to play a lot.

If he is gone I hope he gets another chance with a team that actually uses him for what he is.

GOOD! Hope he, Holliturd, and Speedy McCalculus all take the bullet train up the ass to nowhere. Useless fuckers.

Between them and no-show Robert Woods it felt like the old days with Yancey Twigpen and that draft where they drafted Brandon Jones, Roydell Williams, and Courtney Roby. Wasted.

I’m fine if he goes, but the guy is a perfectly fine 5th WR who mostly plays special teams.

I'm done with him and the past iteration of having slow people on the team who should play STs be in the rotation. Sure, he's fine as at best a 5th WR, but last year he started the year at 2.

Great to see they didn't tender him.  Just too much for the role he should have.  Same applies to Brewer.

So far Carthon is making logical, sound moves.

This seems far more like "winning" free agency than the huge deals JRob gave out early each year, or like the falcons, bears and broncos are giving out this year.

If the strategy holds, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after Paris Campbell or D.J. Chark in FA.  Both had elite RAS scores and it's clear they are looking for younger athletic players.

Guys like Slayton, Ju-Ju, Hollins, Thielien, maybe even Mecole Hardman -  and others that we might have targeted under previous regimes are probably not on our radar if the trend holds.
