Same thing happened in Cuba. No help from Joe. People arrested, executed, and not a peep from the administration. Same as under Obama. Granted, they might've had some Russian support back then. There are still pockets of rebellion and pockets of military activity among the Russians/Assad regime and then of course Turkish and US military presence - but Syria may as well be the surface of Mars. But really, dont need to get rid of the Iranians - just need to get rid of the Iranian regime. The people themselves are pretty progressive as it goes in the Islamic world.
