in his vid yesterday AJ said he asked for 1 and was denied (although he mentioned there were yes and no's as response)
AJ isn't getting 1, but that doesn't mean Julio doesn't.
and i'd guess they're just not going to "give" JJ his #, don't players get to pick ?

I have a feeling that if 8 would've been a permissible # when Julio was drafted he would've taken it then. Chris Redman had it fwiw
