Come on Centennial is the epicenter for breast implants.  Vandy's gotta keep up or be left behind.

Actually, most plastic surgeons have their own surgery suites so boobs are done everywhere.

Vanderbilt is extremely interested in trans surgery and rapidly moving forward. There is certainly going to be money for this and Vanderbilt, particularly surgery, is full blown woke....

@WG53 attitude is why the GOP has control despite being a minority obstructionist party. They gave us a 6-3 conservative SCOTUS that will rule for 15-20 years and even worse, helped get a narcissistic wannabe dictator elected President that shook the foundations of our democracy.

Democrats suck right now, but the alternative is much worse with the crazies in control of the GOP. There is no other option.

Young people have never voted at high rates. This generation of young people is voting at higher rates than previous generations.

Seems silly to complain about something that has been known for generations.

When were born? What about @Rogue?

I’m sure I can find some elections Republicans won and blame it on your generation.

More broken record horseshit.

"Our people" are the ones continuously breaking promises when voted in. Then you use the younger generations as a scapegoat for the older generations fuckups.  No matter what it's our fault somehow. Keep refusing to look at yourselves and place the blame where it actually goes.

There is one progressive Senator.  There are 100 seats, and exactly half are occupied by democrats.  Not only is it amazing watching you complain over a mere 50 percent control when 60 are required to win most votes, you think this one progressive seat pushes progressive agenda above all.

Perhaps if we had one more seat, BBB could have passed.  So maybe instead of complaining about lack of progress in an environment where progress is nearly impossible, the goal should be getting MORE seats in Senate.  If you want a more progressive government, then get MORE progressive seats. Novel idea, I know.  Oh wait, it's not novel...someone else has been generally successful at it.

The other party doesn't give a shit if you can vote and has already demonstrated it won't condemn forceful measures to cancel your vote.  Those guys will certainly fix the issues you want addressed.

Complete bullshit. You guys are just always looking for a scapegoat instead of doing anything to fix the actual problems.

Don’t want to vote for Democrats because they aren’t liberal enough? Fine, you get Republicans running things instead. Great way to show your support for liberal ideals…

There most certainly have been elections democrats have lost when you guys were mere babies.  Sure.  But that's not today.  It's fair to point out that this started because I quoted an article YOU posted.

Oh shut the fuck up. I don't want to vote for democrats because they suck at everything, they never follow through on their promises and they blame people that aren't to blame for their shortcomings. I do vote for them because they're better than republicans.

There's a bizarre thing they hold onto about punishing Democrats because they don't hold enough seats of power to pass meaningful liberal agenda.

If we carry out to the logical conclusion (outside of GOP victories), they'd have a more progressive caucus, with at best the same amount of seats....as if that somehow gets more things passed.

It makes sense to them, somehow.   Does anyone wish to explain how this makes sense?

They were one vote short of passing BBB.  And that's with reconciliation.  They're 10 short on anything else.

Executive orders are limited in power, scope, and longevity.  Easily overturned by the next president.  I'm curious how you think they are supposed to pass a more liberal agenda?

When did I ever say anything about a liberal agenda? You all are projecting majorly. I said follow through on your promises.

You have entire generations that can't afford to be homeowners now because of how older generations have screwed the pooch so badly and allowed corporations to run our governmental policy on everything yet it is somehow our fault.

Look in the mirror and realize you all are the problem and stop trying to scapegoat us.

I don't think anyone is particularly happy with where we are at with wealth equity.  Even some of Trump's base takes issue with it.

But that doesn't answer how you think a 50/50 senate is supposed to change that, or anything.  Can you elaborate?

Yeah, it’s been known for a long time. My post just pointed out “yep, still happening”.

Weird how Democrats have done nothing to address it either by trying to win younger generations’ votes or by winning more of older generations to offset it.

Why don’t you and @oldschool get to work on getting more of your generation to vote Democratic?

oldschool’s actual friends, coworkers, and neighbors are the ones who voted in Youngkin in VA. I don’t see you blasting him.

I'm talking about voters in general, not just young voters who have never been reliable turnout wise. @WG53 is a perfect example of someone who doesn't get it.

I agree but I think @WG53 has said or implied he would vote for Democrats if in a competitive state.

IDK if he’s ever said he hasn’t actually voted for them…

Mostly he just argues that Democrats don’t get much done to make him want to vote for them instead of against the other guys, which is pretty true.

I vote. I've voted for Dems in every race. Almost never does the democrat win in said races.

These douches don't listen to anything you say if it isn't rah rah go democrats! They'll just blame you for their multitude of shortcomings and never learn their lessons

Saying I don't get it is flat out wrong and a perfect example of what I've been saying.

I do vote and have voted for the Dems. Dems have done nothing to earn my vote ever. Simply being the alternative isn't good enough.
