Blackjack
Who knows, maybe it's a quality control coach that didn't interact directly with any players yesterday. On NFL network they just said they are doing contact tracing and will decide the fate of the game within the next few hours.

Hand sanitizer should always be used. But most people don't carry that aound with them and forget not to touch their face because they have been doing it for years. Even reaching up to adjust your mask can spread germs to your body. I don't know if we can say MOST times but I am surprised that this is not talked about more. Especially in an environment where common or shared items are present.

Sounds like it should be unrelated if the information and tracing is correct. Aside from yesterday, the last time they had all been together as a team was on the return trip from Minnesota on 9/27. It was reported that a few coaches were in the building on the morning of 9/28 but were quickly sent home. The first time they were back in the building together was yesterday, 10/10. BeedoeLaw
Surely they are not retesting the same sample when trying to confirm a positive test. Players or coaches that test positive should be sent to a remote site to have a completely new sample taken and tested independently.

That error would be much more likely to cause a false negative than a false positive. I also wonder what type of test they’re using. It’s hard to imagine they’re subjecting these guys to daily bilateral nasopharyngeal swabs. You’re less likely to get an adequate sample with anterior nare swab.
