Don't know why their whole eyes aren't blue from consuming the spice on Arrakis, like in the original 80's movie. I first read this book in college for a science fiction class to fulfill my English requirements. I dont remember shit about my chemistry major but I remember what I read in this class and the impossibly smart professor who was also funny and a great lecturer. Looking forward to this. The David Lynch version was legit, of course it was also weird just like everything else that Lynch has ever done. Ever seen Eraserhead? There was a "director's cut" that had a lot of deleted material which actually made the movie better, but Lynch wouldn't even put his name on it.
