Corey Davis toe surgery

Recommended Posts

Davis makes big plays, but he's too inconsistent. He's a fantastic run blocker. Lots of Henry's big runs will feature a good block from Davis along the way.

The bigger issue is that we don't have a lot of depth at WR. I'm surprised we didn't draft one, but I guess the draft didn't fall that way. Right now, we have Brown, who's very good, and then Davis who's about average, and then basically no one. That's a problem. Luckily, Smith is a good receiving TE, which helps. But we could really use Davis this year, ASAP, or Tanny won't have as many weapons. Teams are going to double Brown, which should give whoever is opposite him some opportunities.

Biggest bust in TN history.  He has exceeded Pac Man.

Shut the fuck up. You’re worse than Jake with your fixations. Mariota, Locker, and Warmack were all way worse picks.

I’ve always heard that guys will wait until training camp to get surgery so that they don’t have to rehab in the offseason. Hopefully this isn’t the case and it’s just a longer recovery combined with Covid making non emergency surgeries hard to schedule.

We've still got Humphreys and Kalif Raymond.  Catching the ball I think we'll be ok but definitely not as big in the run game.

Our starting offense is so physical.

If Corey really just got the surgery he's a dummy. Your would think he'd like to actually begin a training camp on the same page as his QB since that's been one of the biggest issues for him this far.

I bet he got it earlier.. it was mentioned on a BWTB podcast like in Feb that he had issues all last season with the toe. I think these things just take time to heal.

Yeah. I remember BTWB talking about the turf toe a while back. I really hope that he did get it done ASAP after the season ended because if he didn't he's a moron.

True that. I do not this staff is much more conservative when it comes to player safety, especially in the preseason, than pretty much any staff we've had before. So hopefully thats part of it too.

Odds are this is not based on Davis being dumb. The team is generally responsible for medical decisions when it comes to surgery.

1. We don’t know when he got the surgery. They may simply still be waiting out the recovery.

2. Even if he put off surgery, he may have been told he didn’t need it. Plenty of injuries heal themselves over time. Team doctors may have originally said he didn’t need to have it surgically repaired only later to find out that it hadn’t fully healed in the time they had expected.

That's all acceptable.

Biggest bust will always be VY. So talented, and quit on his team.

While there are bigger busts probably with the Titans, VY is definitely the biggest POS in Titans history...
