It was also a completely legal play and a smart one at that. All the whining about that play was unjustified. As for the possible involvment of Fisher and Ryan, it obviously would make sense, but Williams will never dime those guys out. Players for the Redskins and Bills have come out and said that Williams ran a similar program with their teams. Jimmy Johnson accused Buddy Ryan of running a similar program. It's not real hard to connect the dots here. But in all fairness, this probably has a long league wide history. The difference now is that the league investigated the Saints and they lied to the league about it and tried to cover it up. That is what will bring down the league wrath. If he doesn't, then the logical question becomes why he was good enough (after terrible on field performance) to be offered a second contract with the Titans but not be promoted by the Rams? The answer would be obvious: Corky was offered a second contract with the Titans because Fisher thought he made it more expensive for Bud to fire Fisher. More news will come out of Tennessee on this and sooner or later Jeff Fisher will get dragged into it, unless he cuts ties first. How did the info get out, must have missed it.
