How was it HIS fault that the referee didn't throw the flag and that the throw was not accurate? The throw went 54 yards through the air and HIT HIM IN THE FACEMASK! How much more accurate does the QB need to be?

I just went back through this thread and have mentioned or even implied anything with the QB literally ZERO times Closest thing I got was using the catchable targets in the stat that you initially commented on for drop rate

Every single thread about what went wrong with the Titans' season devolved into a Mariota thread. Led by you pricks. Eat shit.
wiscotitansfan
LOL, holy shit are you triggered.... But yes, my only complaint about the Titans has been Mariota and only Mariota for the past 7 months. Because I am saying that Taywan Taylor has not been a disappointment is such a scathing review of Mariota. LOL Get a hold of yourself

The other big bitch from you guys is that Marcus doesn't throw the 50/50 ball. "He doesn't give his receivers a chance to go get it." He does, the receivers just don't win very often. Another one of your complaints shot down in flames. How does one play illustrate season's worth of play? Tape shows time and time again where Mariota doesn't throw the ball when he could - whether coverage is there or not.

Those stats you want to lean on say the QB threw 9 balls that were contested where the WR blew the catch. And you can't figure out why the QB has reservations about that receiver winning the 50/50 catch. SMGDH.

No, it says he had 9 targets that were "50/50 balls"... he won 4 of them and lost

If the receiver can't adjust the 10-12 inches require to make the catch when he has 54 air yards to track it, then he has issues with that aspect of his game. Which is something the Twitter thread specifically, and correctly, makes a point of mentioning. Or did you miss that part? Yeah, I thought so. wiscotitansfan
https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-top-wrs-in-contested-catch-situations In 2017 there were only 9 receivers who were 50% or better on "50/50 balls"..... Taywan (or Corey Davis) wouldn't have even qualified to be ranked though because he didn't have enough contested targets

Remembering the one drop here or there. Do ya think the Pats are discussing, with micro accuracy all of Edleman's drops (we have discussed every fing one of Taylor's, all four). It is in people's heads. It is also retarded to think ANY player is going to come in and be that much better since we demand perfection. I mean hell, Travis Kelce had 5 drops. Guy sucks. Wouldn't want him. Lol. Sox is triggered and taking extremes without context again. What is new?

That play was most definitely a poor choice to pin on Taylor, I don't know how a flag wasn't thrown there. He had his face mask pulled & his hands interfered with. That said, calling that pass inaccurate is about as picky as it gets. He threw that ball a long way on the money. It was ever so slightly underthrown. 9/10 that's a 55 yard PI. Face
BTW is it me or did we call some really long passes last year, air yards I mean. Marcus threw a few bombs last year that covered over 60 yards. The one to Davis against Philly was an absolute space shot.
