What an absolutely STUPID run back by Butler at the end of the game

In theory it would have been the smart play, but there was no time on the clock, he wasn't going to get tackled, what's the big deal?

It would have been different had there been time on the clock and it was a 1 point game, making it an 8 point game and the Redskins had no timeouts.

Some people don't understand the concept of context.  If the LOS is near the red zone, it's a different story.  In this case the Redskins had the ball at their own 15 and the interception was made at around the Titans' 45 with no time on the clock.  The odds of it backfiring were all but non-existent and a guy who has had a rough year gets a moment in the spotlight.  The fact that there was an option that was better doesn't mean that the option chosen was bad.

His pressure on the CB blitz that helped precipitate Byard's int was his best play.

Byard obviously gets all the glory there....but it was Butler's leap that forced Johnson to throw high, resulting in a badly overthrown ball and an easy INT for Byard.

Definitely a huge play by Butler.

After a terrible start to the season, he stepped it up and has played *really* well over the past several games.
