Both are easy to root for (well except for the team Luck's on, of course), seemingly good guys off the field and are not loud and obnoxious. I'd also put Brees, Russell Wilson, Alex Smith and Andy Dalton in that category.

Yes football is close to a religion in Texas. But that doesn't mean you can judge it based on your geography. Yet you do. Just like all the idiot Dallas fans who believe they have the answers to the Cowboy's woes. You're starting from a place of zero personal knowledge and experience of this game oman, and it shows in almost every post you write. Your get your opinions from pundits who rarely watch the Titans, and your favorite changes week-to-week depending on which one's bullshit writing supports your narrative-of-the-moment. You are indeed the Skip Bayless of TR. The "Johnny Football starter kit" thread is a perfect example. You claim because I'm a Mariota/Oregon fan I can't be taken seriously. I say you can't be taken seriously because you're NEVER right, and you prove it week after week after week. You were wrong about Fisher. Wrong about Whisenhunt. Wrong about the team's financial situation. Wrong about Mularkey. Wrong about Robiskie. Wrong about scheme changes. Wrong about formations and pass routes. Wrong about coverages. And now, this season alone, you've been wrong about Mariota, Davis, Smith, Brown, Fowler, and missing Delanie. (and a few more I've probably forgotten) When does it stop? When do you stop jealously guarding that "Expert Analysis" tag you edit out of everyone else's thread titles? When do you learn to just STFU until you either learn the game or accept the fact you're only a fan and nothing more? You're busy crowing about the Lewis/Henry bet when Lewis is averaging less than 3 more carries per game than Henry, has half the TDs and fewer 1st downs. The fact is neither is a Bell Cow caliber back in this league, and both suck at blocking in the backfield. Hence the reason Fowler was reacquired and Stocker has been playing FB. Dexter McCluster could block in the BF better than either of them. And you probably still think spreading the field means a shotgun snap, or that a Zone Read is a pass play. Grow up Oman. Nobody died and made you football God. Holy fucking hell! LOL! I'm picturing Oman at the gym trying to work out, when this post pierces him like a voo doo doll! Oman then falls to the floor in agony, clutching his chest, as TDF continuously stabs more insults into his body! Mercy! Oh... damn... whew... brutal... It's everyday human interaction You guys worry about the oddest things. It takes a bit of comfort in the overall offense to know how to compare it. It also likely takes game reps. Then there is the relationship between the qb and the OC. Someone saying they want to hear what you like and don't like and then really meaning it are two different things. It makes sense that the relationship between the qb and OC needed a little time to develop. All of this seems pretty normal.

LaFleur said he couldn't get Mariota to answer, as if he had to drag it out of him. @8MM who is also from Hawaii and understands this primitive people has even tried to explain it from his twisted view himself. It didn't sound like it was an NFL playbook thing, it sounded more like a simple communication problem.

big2033
He's too nice guys. We all know this. It doesn't matter so much on the field but when it comes to getting the plays you want it matters. But he's opening up. Which is great. Nothing more to say.
